Ambre Resort & Spa

Ambre hotel is located at Palmar, on the east coast of Mauritius. The resort is one hour away from the airport; one hour from Port Louis, the capital city and 20 mins from Ile aux Cerfs.
The resort boasts a 700-metres long white natural sandy beach running along a sheltered bay. The adjacent tropical lagoon is a haven for fish and marine life, with many bathing and diving areas. Ambre is a four-star resort set in a tropical, easy-going environment, where island living can be experienced at its best.

ACCOMMODATION

• Superior Garden View Room – The Superior Garden View room boasts fresh décor complemented with splashes of our signature amber colour. Surrounded by lush foliage and located just a few steps from the beach, it is the ideal haven for travellers seeking a tropical island getaway.
• Superior Ocean View Room – Marvel at stunning panoramic views of the Mauritian lagoon from the Superior Ocean View room. This room provides ample space to unwind after uplifting strolls on the beach or after a day rich in adventure and discovery.
• Deluxe Room – Spacious and airy, the Deluxe Room is privy to unmatched sunrise views. It provides privileged direct access to the white sandy beach which runs along the resort. Serene and restful, vibrant and rhythmic, this room lends itself to any ambience.
• Deluxe Suite – Tucked between tropical gardens and white sandy beaches, the Deluxe Suite boasts an unobstructed view of the Indian Ocean. Sip on a refreshing drink from the soothing comfort of the living room or soak in the bathtub after a Mauritian day of relaxation or effervescence.

SPA

mbre’s Tropical Spa is away from the bustle of the resort’s activities and restaurants. Its location in the south wing of the resort, next to the beach, ensures peace and calm for guests who seek to wind down and recharge their batteries.

It is equipped with 4 treatment rooms, a Hammam, sauna and Jacuzzi. In addition, the romantic outdoor area lets you indulge in a Spa treatment whilst contemplating the ocean before you.

SPORTS/LEISURE

Even during your holidays, Ambre offers a wide array of activities and facilities, from the most active to the most relaxed. Aerobic; fitness; tennis; stretching; aqua gym and sports tournaments. From 7 am to 8 pm.

THE SWIMMING POOL

The pool is at the heart of the resort and offers various areas for swimming, playing and relaxing. Besides the Main Pool and a 20m tropical lap pool, a special area for children is also available. Three gazebos also provide extra space for ultimate relaxation.

WATER SPORTS 

Kayaks, laser sails, glass-bottom boat trips, snorkelling, wind-surfing, fun boat, aqua gym classes, water polo, volley polo, basket polo.

LAND SPORTS
Two floodlit tennis courts, aerobics, steps, stretching, yoga, badminton, bocce ball, frisbee, jogging, volleyball, beach volley and table tennis.

FITNESS
The fitness centre, with its full range of cardio and body toning equipment, offers you the opportunity to par-take in your favourite workouts.

GOLF
Ambre guests have a preferential access to Le Touessrok Golf Club, beautiful par-72 championship course designed by Bernhard Langer, on Ile aux Cerfs up the coast. There is also a Golf Academy on the golf course which offers a state-of-the-art teaching and practice facility. Golf cart is not compulsory. A complimentary shuttle service from the resort to Le Touessrok Golf Club is available.
