Discover the Island

To explore La Digue Island, you can rent bicycles at the reception.  Bambi Chalets offers exciting excursions to the neighbouring islands such as Praslin, Curieuse, Sister Islands and much more. Fishing and diving enthusiasts can count on us to organize their adventures at sea.

An Ideal Setting for Couples and Families

Life is sweet on this small island: no traffic except bicycles, traditional oxcarts and a handful of taxis. Covered in lush tropical vegetation, it is the ideal place to discover the true Creole way of life. Numerous paths and roads leads to pristine beaches and Anse Source d’Argent, the world’s most photographed beach, is one of them. The more sportive guests will hike or cycle across the island to admire the beaches of Grande and Petite Anse located on the southeast shore.

The Veuve Nature Reserve, which hosts the Paradise Fly catcher – one of the world’s rarest birds – and the Union Estate Domain are both a must-see.
