This is a mixture of local life and Nature safari.
The day will start with a visit to the market of Quatre Bornes, on the Central Plateau.This typically Mauritian market is colourful, popular as it is The spot for great textile and local crafts bargains.
After the hustle and bustle, the shaded country roads will take you downhill to Yemen for a safari. You will be driving in a Nature Reserve full of monkeys, stags and birds. You may come across moorhens, partridges, guinea fowls and Egyptian geese around the ponds.
You will drive uphill and downhill, taking in the breathtaking views on the savannah and the west coast. Refreshments will be served at a kiosk before going to the bat sanctuary.
This safari is done in a 4 x 4 vehicle or a specially fitted bus.
A Mauritian lunch will be served at the restaurant of Casela Nature and Leisure Park, some 15 minutes away.
Visit of the Park, after lunch.
Full day – Ex all hotels.
